Une station météo intelligente lit les valeurs météo depuis un service en ligne au lieu de les mesurer avec un capteur. L'ESP32 C3 Super Mini se connecte à votre WiFi, envoie une requête HTTPS et dessine la réponse sur un écran rond.

À Propos de l'API Open-Meteo

Open-Meteo est le service météo utilisé ici. Il ne nécessite ni clé API ni inscription, ce qui garde le code court. Une seule requête renvoie la météo actuelle, les valeurs horaires et un résumé quotidien au format JSON simple. Le paramètre timezone indique au service de répondre avec les heures locales au lieu de l'UTC.

Schéma de Câblage entre l'Écran TFT Rond et l'ESP32 C3 Super Mini

L'écran utilise le bus SPI. Sur l'ESP32 C3 Super Mini, GPIO4 transporte l'horloge et GPIO6 transporte les données. Le bouton est sur GPIO1, qui est une simple broche d'entrée sur l'ESP32 C3, et non une broche de configuration de démarrage (strapping), donc un bouton sur cette broche ne peut pas perturber le démarrage.

Deux types de bouton conviennent à ce projet. Choisissez celui que vous avez, câblez-le comme indiqué, et réglez la ligne correspondante dans le code.

Câblage d'un Bouton-Poussoir

Un bouton-poussoir nu possède deux broches et rien d'autre. Il relie GPIO1 à la masse tant qu'il est maintenu, et l'ESP32 C3 fournit la résistance de pull-up depuis l'intérieur de la puce.

Câblage d'un Module Bouton

Un module bouton possède trois broches et une résistance de pull-down soudée sur la carte. Il a besoin du 3,3V et de la masse, et sa broche OUT met GPIO1 à HIGH lors d'un appui.

Code pour ce câblage : le module possède sa propre résistance, donc le pull-up interne doit être désactivé.

IMPORTANT : Alimentez le module GC9A01 depuis la broche 3.3V. L'ESP32 C3 Super Mini est une carte 3,3V, et alimenter l'écran en 5V alors que ses broches de données sont à 3,3V peut réduire la durée de vie du module.

  • Rejoint votre réseau WiFi et réduit la puissance radio pour une liaison stable
  • Synchronise l'horloge via NTP pour que la page d'accueil affiche l'heure réelle
  • Demande les données météo à Open-Meteo via HTTPS

  • Dessine huit pages avec des icônes, des anneaux, une boussole et une animation de pluie

  • Copiez le code : Copiez le code de la station météo ci-dessus et collez-le dans l'Arduino IDE.
  • Configurez votre WiFi : Remplacez WIFI_SSID et WIFI_PASSWORD par le nom et le mot de passe de votre propre réseau.
  • Configurez votre ville : Remplacez LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, LOCATION_NAME, TIMEZONE et GMT_OFFSET_SEC par les valeurs de votre propre ville.
  • Téléversez le code : Cliquez sur le bouton Upload pour compiler et téléverser le code vers l'ESP32 C3 Super Mini.
  • Ouvrez le Moniteur Série : Réglez le débit en bauds sur 115200 pour suivre la connexion et les valeurs météo.
  • Observez le résultat : L'écran affiche un écran de démarrage, puis un écran WiFi, puis la météo. Appuyez sur le bouton pour parcourir les pages.
  • Astuce Pro : Le sketch est volumineux. Si l'IDE indique qu'il ne tient pas, ouvrez Outils et choisissez un schéma de partition avec une zone d'application plus grande.

Explication du Code Ligne par Ligne

Comment Fonctionne le Bouton

Un seul bouton gère trois tâches. Le sketch mesure combien de temps le contact reste fermé et choisit l'action en fonction de cette durée :

Moins de 0,6 seconde Passer à la page suivante, en revenant à HOME après la dernière
0,6 à 2 secondes Demander immédiatement des données fraîches à l'API météo
Plus de 2 secondes Revenir directement à la page HOME

La bibliothèque ezButton fait le plus dur. Elle supprime les rebonds du contact de l'interrupteur, pour qu'un appui ne soit jamais compté deux fois, et elle configure la broche en INPUT_PULLUP lors de la création de l'objet :

La fenêtre d'anti-rebond est définie une seule fois dans setup() :

Dans la boucle, button.loop() vient en premier, puis les deux événements donnent la durée d'appui :

Comment Changer la Localisation

Séoul est la ville fournie avec le sketch. Cinq lignes en haut du code la contrôlent :

  • LATITUDE et LONGITUDE indiquent votre ville. N'importe quel site de cartographie les fournit.
  • LOCATION_NAME est le libellé affiché à l'écran. Gardez-le court pour l'écran rond.
  • TIMEZONE est inséré dans une adresse web, donc / doit être écrit %2F. Europe/Berlin devient Europe%2FBerlin.
  • GMT_OFFSET_SEC alimente l'horloge NTP. Berlin en hiver est à UTC+1, donc (1 * 3600).
  • DST_OFFSET_SEC ajoute l'heure d'été. Utilisez 3600 là où elle s'applique, sinon 0.

Applications et Idées de Projets

Utilisez votre station météo ESP32 C3 Super Mini dans ces projets pratiques :

  • Construisez une horloge de bureau qui alterne entre l'heure et la météo toutes les quelques secondes
  • Montez l'écran rond dans un cadre en bois comme cadran météo mural
  • Ajoutez un buzzer qui émet un bip lorsque la probabilité de pluie pour l'heure suivante dépasse 70%
  • Pilotez une LED RGB qui change de couleur selon la température extérieure
  • Suivez deux villes et basculez entre elles avec un second bouton
  • Enregistrez les mesures sur une carte SD pour créer votre propre historique de température
  • Allumez une prise intelligente via MQTT lorsque les prévisions annoncent une nuit froide

Relevez le Défi

Allez plus loin avec votre station météo ESP32 C3 Super Mini :

  • Facile : Changez l'intervalle d'actualisation de 10 minutes à 30 minutes pour réduire le trafic WiFi
  • Facile : Passez l'unité de température de Celsius à Fahrenheit dans getWeatherURL()
  • Moyen : Ajoutez une neuvième page qui affiche le lever et le coucher du soleil, que le code analyse déjà
  • Moyen : Faites changer la couleur de fond de la page d'accueil selon la température
  • Avancé : Ajoutez un second bouton pour que l'un avance et l'autre recule
  • Avancé : Mettez en cache la dernière réponse valide en mémoire flash pour que la station affiche des données juste après un redémarrage

Dépannage

  • L'écran reste noir. Vérifiez SCL sur GPIO4 et SDA sur GPIO6, et assurez-vous que le module est alimenté en 3,3V.
  • Le WiFi ne se connecte jamais. L'ESP32 C3 Super Mini ne rejoint que les réseaux 2,4 GHz. L'antenne intégrée est petite, gardez donc la carte éloignée du métal.
  • HTTP CODE est négatif. La connexion HTTPS a échoué. Vérifiez que la carte a réellement accès à Internet.
  • Le sketch ne tient pas. Choisissez un schéma de partition avec une zone d'application plus grande dans Outils.
  • L'horloge affiche --:--. La synchronisation NTP ne s'est pas terminée. Certains réseaux bloquent le port UDP 123.
